Season’s Greetings from Lili of the Valley

Claudia_Rosa_All In a Row_3_10_2011

HI there.. back with a new Lili of the Valley card. The lady who ordered this card wanted the girls to have all black hair and the colors needed to be bright. Right up my alley if I may say so Smile

Quick coloring tip:

if you want to color these detailed images in,in the areas where you have the polka dots and the stars. I do not worry about them at first. I worry how I want my folds and shadows on my dresses. I color right over these areas. Than I choose darker colors to add color to my dots or stars. Of course this only works if you pick different colors than yellow, but who said anyways stars always have to be colored yellow and polka dots have to be white?

All in a row

I blinked and lost the weekend lol.  I had such great plans to get so much done and did it?  Did I heck as like.  Oh well, I should know by now NOT to make plans for my free time!!

This week’s Wild Orchid Challenge is Make it Sparkle with Stars.    For my card today the stars are on those little cuties’ dresses.  The stamp – All in a row – is from Lili of the Valley’s newest release, aren’t they just too stinkin’ cute!!

The paper is last year’s Memory Box Mistletoe, still one of my faves!!   The satin ribbon, new lace, trellis rose, 20mm roses, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, cherry blossoms and tulips have all been given the German Glass Glitter treatment and all the products can be found at Wild Orchid Crafts.

I am loving this olive green colour combo right now, and so easy to achieve with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.  Colours used are:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair:  E31, E51, E50
Reds: R29, R24, R22, R20
Greens: YG97, YG95, YG93, E81
Golds: YR24, UR21, Y11

Another LOTV Peak

lotvpeak3sm

Happy Monday dear Lily Of The Valley Fans. Today I wanted to show you another sneak peak of these soon to be released images for Lily Of The Valley. They will be released the 6th of September so get those pocketbooks ready lol

Today I am showing you All In A Row !!! Aren’t they just the cutest ??? I have also used the Christmas Circular Sentiments from Lily Of The Valley.

These cuties have been colored with copics and I used a Cheery Lynn Designs doily. The papers are BoBunny that I got from Susan’s Custom Art and Cards Design. This lady has such a large selection of paper. I love it. The ribbon is some seam binding that I got from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Well keep checking for lots more sneak peaks from everyone.

Thanks for stopping bye and visiting me and sending you all Big Hugs ((((((((()))))))))))

SNEAKY PEEKY - All In A Row

Oh boy!!! I am finally able to show you a SNEAKY PEEK for the upcoming launch of the second group of LOTV Christmas images! I know that you loved the first launch and these are oh so cute as well! The launch will take place on September 6, and will contain 22 new cuties!! But until then be sure to check on all of the DT SNEAKY PEEKS both on the DT members' personal blogs and especially here on the LOTV Ideas to Inspire Blog.

To showcase the darling All In A Row, I made a purse giftbox using a Darcie's template. The purse body measures about 8 inches (21cm) across the bottom and is about 6 1/2 inches (17cm)tall, excluding the handle. The papers I used are from an old MS Paper Pad. The image was stamped on XPress-It Blending Card and colored with a combination of Copics and ProMarkers...adding a bit of Prisma Glitter for the snow and glitter on the dresses. Aren't those three little munchkins the sweetest little things?!?!! The tag is from the LOTV Circular Christmas Sentiments cut out with Nesties and tied on the bag with wee red satin ribbon and a flat bow. To finish the front of the purse I used red ball fringe and a couple of WOC Mulberry Paper Poinsettias (I removed the centers of the flowers and replaced them with some sparkly brads) and some WOC Holly Leaves!

I hope you like my little giftbox and will continue to keep your eyes tuned in right here for all of the other darling images!!

Thank you so much for visiting with us today and we hope you will come back often!! Hugs from Jacque!
