Lou used a sentiment from our Christmas Wishes set and one of the patterned papers from the new Mr & Mrs pad. This pad has a gorgeous grey and pink colour palette with a touch of black, it’s a bit different to our others but it’s proving to be a very popular collection and the DT love it

Our final Top 5…

Morning everyone, how are you today?

I have our Top 5 this morning from the November challenge which was our last one

Thanks everyone for joining in with the challenge over the last 18 months, we’ve really enjoyed looking through all your amazing work

The prize winners were drawn at random but we’ve gone through the entries and chosen our favourites. As always it was so hard to narrow it down to just 5 and we changed our minds several times. But, we did it, and here are our top picks in entry order…

First up is entry 5 which is from Kunis

This is one of our new Christmas stamps and it’s called The Perfect Tree

We loved the non-traditional colours used on this gorgeous card

*

Next is entry 57 by Stacy

Stacy did 3 variations of this card and we loved them all. She used James Snowman and coloured the image with pencils on kraft card – what a fabulous effect

*

Entry 77 is our next choice and this is by Stacey

These are gift cards made to hold a bar of chocolate

What a lovely idea, and there is a tutorial on Stacey’s blog too if you would like to have a go. The stamps used on these are Santa, Twinkling Star, and Feeding Robins

*

Our 4th pick is by Jules, entry number 93

This is such a lovely design, Jules used our Teddy With Robin stamp with a plain white embossed background and then some patterned paper behind the aperture

*

Our final choice was entry 117 from Andreja…

Andreja made these gorgeous personalised tags on kraft card, I like this idea very much.

The James and Festive Fairy images that Andreja used are now retired unfortunately but you could use any of our Christmas designs. The one on the right is Snow Queen

*

Hope you like our choices, please email me ladies for your top 5 banner anne@lililofthevalley.co.uk

Don’t forget to let me know what you think, one of the comments will be drawn to win our daily candy

Our winner from Sunday is you ‘the cook’. Well done, please email your address to erica@liliofthevalley.co.uk

See you tomorrow, have a lovely day everyone

A colouring video…

Good morning crafters, I have another fantastic colouring video to share today by our Mindy

We’ve had amazing feedback when I’ve shown these before so it’s great to know that you find them useful…

Afternoon Stroll - Mindy

Mindy’s card is using one of our cute new images and this one is called Afternoon Stroll and the words are from one of our Everyday Grungy Messages

I’ve watched this video a few times now, I’m fascinated by those pleats in the dress… and what a lovely touch to add the grass and the flowers too, she certainly makes it look easy! I think one thing I’ve learnt from watching Mindy is that it’s ok to leave some areas white, I’d have had the bunny, the pram, the bonnet and the socks all coloured in!!

Here’s the video, enjoy…

Let me know what you think and as always there will be a winner drawn from all the comments we get. Our candy from Thursday goes to you Anet Van Zyl. Congratulations Anet, please email your address to erica@liliofthevalley.co.uk

Have a lovely Saturday all, see you tomorrow
