A Christmas hanging…

Morning all, if you stopped by expecting to see the next card from our Guest Designer Sheri then that will be here later in the week…   I’m sure it will be worth waiting for!

I have a lovely Christmas Project to share today instead by our Lou

Christmas Star Hoop - Lou

This lovely stamp is called Christmas Star and the greeting is from the Christmas Handwritten Phrases set

Lou used some pretty fabric and a small embroidery hoop, such a clever idea. She made a couple of these hangers last year and everyone really loved them, they are on display in the shop and are very much admired by our customers

  30. Lovely creation, Lou! Totally set me into a Christmas mood! :)))
Just a side note - watermark your images, cause such amazing work is likely to be stolen by mean people. I really get frustrated by the increasing amount of stolen work recently. xx

  32. This is fabulous. I remember doing cross-stitching and then putting it in little hoops. Never thought about doing a stamped image. I'm going over to Lou's blog to see how she colored on the fabric. These would make great little ornaments for Christmas presents, and even using them on the front of packages instead of a bow! Thanks for the inspiration!

    1. Ahhh, see I'm glad I went over to Lou's blog...she stamped the image on watercolor paper and then attached it to the fabric after she put the fabric in the ring. :)
