Inktense Pencils…

Good morning crafters, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend?

Have you seen the Inktense pencils that some of our Design team have been using?

The super talented (and very lovely) Dena came all the way from Texas for our 10th birthday event in May and demonstrated them for us. You often buy a full set of these things on impulse only to find you use maybe a quarter of them (I think we’ve all done it!) so… Dena has selected 15 essential colours for us to get you started

They were only available in the shop initially but we’ve had so many requests for them that we’re now delighted to be able to offer our exclusive set for you to order on the website here

Dena did a video for us to get you started and I also have a card coloured with the pencils so you can see the effect, you get a deeper colour than with inks but with less effort and cost than the alcohol markers

Pedal Power - Dena

Dena used our cute Annabel Pedal Power stamp and a sentiment from Handwritten Phrases

Here’s the tutorial, if you’ve already got the pencils I hope you find it useful… and if you’ve not seen this fabulous colouring medium before why not give them a go!

Our candy winner from Friday was the very first comment of the day and that was Ali, well done Ali, please email your address to erica@liliofthevalley.co.uk

Leave a comment if you want to be in the draw today…   and enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone

  29. Dena colouring is fantastic. I have watched her video before. I don't have inktense pencil but I have tried her techniques with my watercolour pencils. Though I definitely need more practice to get gorgeous results like this.
