Did you ever want your very own pony?

I know I did!  And I saved every penny when I was a young girl so I could take the long bus ride to the nearest stables to ride a pony!  But alas, I never did get to own my very own but I do get to see them nearly every day now I live in the countryside.  *Sigh* - such beautiful creatures!

But, hey, you haven't come here to hear me reminisce!  But the card I am sharing today brings back those memories and I just adore the new Annabel Saddle Up stamp now available in the Lili of the Valley store.

Isn't she pretty?  And I also used the pretty papers from the Pastel Dreams pad and the sentiment is from the Scrolls Sentiments set.

Thank you for visiting us today - have a great day and hope to see you again soon!

  33. Such a sweet card Mary! Love the colours and little annabelle is so cute!

I never did have any affinity to horses - cats are my thing hehe - but my niece and sister are horsemad - we're currently considering rehoming a rescued horse - win win situation really, we get a horse for an affordable price, and the horse gets a fresh start with a loving owner. We live on a farm so plenty of room, we seem to take all the needy strays here haha, every time a cat in need is found by someone local, it's packed into a box and delivered to my front door - and I wouldn't have it any other way ^_^

    Enough rambling haha!

  40. I think this is my fav image from the latest release. And yes, I wanted a horse when I was a kid. We did live out where we could have one, but didn't have the money to buy and feed it. My dad filled our heads with stories of when he was a kid and they had a horse and cart (Dad was born in 1929 in a small town in New England, CT). I have pictures of him with "Brownie" the horse. Each generation misses out on something with everyone saying "progress". But I don't see it that way. I see that our children (kids under 40 now) have missed out on "going out to play", "running around the neighborhood" while mom "cleaned the house" or just needed a break from us. We didn't stay inside and play video games or use held hand computers. We physically played outside. Anyway, this dates me for sure! I love this card. It's my favorite so far of this image and I'm saving it to my desktop to enjoy it longer. Hugs, Gail

  41. Wow love your marvelous card, your style always seems to be so simple and easy to do, then I try to do something similar and realize how hard it is and how you are just so clever and make it look easy.
