Morning all, something a bit different today, I have a gorgeous card by Mindy and also a video showing how she colours a snowman adding shadows with a darker pen
I don’t know about you but when I’ve spent ages colouring an image I’m always a bit scared to start adding darker shades in case I spoil it
You will be amazed at the difference it makes…
Mindy used our cute Cold Hands Warm Heart stamp and papers from ‘Twas The Night and Festive Trimmings
Here’s Mindy’s colouring video, I think you’ll enjoy it…
Let me know what you think, I hope you found the tutorial useful
All the comments will go in our daily candy draw and congratulations to our winner from Monday loulou, please email your address to erica@liliofthevalley.co.uk

Great card with amazing colouring. I too am a little nervous about adding dark colours but I think I will give it a try and see what happens. Thank you for the video tutorial.
ReplyDeleteLesley
Fantastic colouring - I'd be happy if I produced anything approaching either one of the coloured images, left or right!
ReplyDeleteJust gave it a try, but feel I've only succeeded in making my snowmen look mucky! I shall have to practice more (and possibly play around with colours, as I use Promarkers, not Copics!) x
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card & awesome video!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, love the torn paper. Mindy's colouring is so beautiful, and boy is she quick! Lol! I colour with Prisma pencils and have added black before and it works a treat. See here, I used the black on their clothes: http://butlersabroad.wordpress.com/2014/04/01/sparkles-monthly-christmas-challenge-inspired-by-a-christmas-carol/
