Theme Thursday…

Morning crafters, you all liked the idea of my ‘Oldie but a Goodie’ post yesterday so thanks for the feedback

I know some of you have been with us for many years so I was amazed how many of you had never seen the Messy Messages stamp, we have some really cute older stamps that tend to get overlooked when new ones come out so I think I’ll make a regular feature of that and see if I can show you a few more that you may have missed!

Onto today’s Theme Thursday and today my theme is…

Christmas Projects

We have some lovely paper crafting projects in our galleries so I’ve picked some festive ones to share today…

Christmas Foliage Box - Anne Box - Anne

These are old boxes that I’ve covered in our Christmassy papers. You can use any boxes, one of these had jewellery in and one was a phone. I’ve used Classic Christmas and Festive Trimmings papers and a tag from the Christmas Grungy Messages set. The elements on the top box are from our exciting new Mini Images sets, you can use your imagination a bit with these as they’re not just for using as stamped images on a card, they are fabulous for making 3d projects and decoupage. The holly border and poinsettias are from the Foliage set and the robin is on the Icons sheet

Candle - Dawny Paper Cart 3 - Dawny

Dawny made the next 2 projects; we have instructions on our website for candle stamping, they are quite easy to do and make a really lovely gift… and you can personalise them too. This cute image is called Milly Winter Window. The little cart is made with papers from the Woodland Wishes pad

Advent Calendar - LouLight The Way - Lou

Our Lou enjoys making projects and these two lovely items are hers. The advent calendar is so clever and very much admired in our shop. The image is Build a Snowman and the sentiment is from Christmas Handwritten Phrases. She used the Christmas Grungy Messages to make the clever patchwork background on the hanger and the cute character is Light The Way. She included a few elements on here also from the Grunge Christmas Postmarks set

  1. Oh Anne, these are all soooooooo beautiful. I love the small boxes, which is so perfect for gifts and also the candles and the little wagon are just too cute, but so is everything, so it´s impossible to pick just one favorit here, that´s for sure. I love them all.

  2. This is a really great post today Anne...I love the different ideas you have shown. I bought candles to decorate last year but time ran out...or rather Daisy Jane arrived...and they are still sitting bare in my cupboard...perhaps this year is the year! Happy Thursday xx
