Good morning crafters, I have our Top 5 picks from the June challenge to share today instead of Theme Thursday. Just before I tell you which of your lovely cards we chose I have a little bit of news about a giveaway on our Facebook page…
We are just about to reach a rather astounding 10,000 likes and when we do hit the magical 10,000 there will be some candy up for grabs. If you haven’t liked our page already then please do so. There is plenty more card inspiration on there as well as newsy bits and you can also upload your own cards for us to look at. Lucy posts on there most days and there is one of us checking it throughout the day if you want to ask any questions. It’s a bit more interactive than the blog so if you haven’t had a peek then make sure you do so because you might be missing out!!
Right onto our Top 5 from last months challenge, we were spoiled for choice with all your fabulous Male and Sporty themed cards and it was hard as always to pick just 5
Here are our choices in entry order…
This is entry 42 from Jane
Such a pretty card featuring our new character Annabel who is available doing various sports and outdoor activities which you can normally only find on boys images
This stamp is Upside Down and you get get it in the Here Comes Annabel art pad too
Next is number 53 which was made by Sharon. We loved how Sharon made the teeny rolls of wallpaper to use with our cute A Lick Of Paint stamp – a very clever idea!
Again if stamping is not your thing you can get this image in an art pad and he can be found in Vintage Boys
The papers are from Father Knows Best
Our 3rd choice is entry 64 by Sylvia and she made this lovely little label to go over a bottle – what a lovely idea, bottles are so hard to wrap and you can personalise it too
This stamp is called Man's Best Friend and the topper is also available in the Vintage Boys art pad
Entry 68 is by Rebecca, we liked the simple layout of this – a lovely male card for any age group
Rebecca used a topper from the Vintage Boys art pad and this adorable image is one of our top sellers, the stamp is called Lazy Afternoon
The papers are Father Knows Best and she finished with one of our Family Sentiment tags
Last but certainly not least is number 77 by Hellerlittle
I know we’ve already chosen one with this image but we loved the way she did the background to look like our little decorator has painted the rainbow!
5 really gorgeous makes, I hope you like them!
Well done ladies, please email erica@liliofthevalley.co.uk for your Top 5 blog banners
The July challenge is to use 2 or more Lili of the Valley products on your card or project, you can find full details on our CHALLENGE PAGE and you have until the end of July so plenty of time to make us something fab!
