Hey everyone, I hope you are all having a nice weekend?
I’m off to the NEC today, it’s the trade show so hopefully I’ll spot lots of lovely new goodies for the shop
…and then it’s the craft awards, thanks to all of our lovely friends and customers who voted for us in December. The winners are announced today so fingers crossed everyone that we won an award!
I have our Top 5 from the January challenge today
When there are so many entries it is virtually impossible to pick just 5, there were some amazing cards and projects and we thoroughly enjoyed looking at them all.
Here are our choices (in entry order)
Number 27 is Netty…
We loved the idea of this clever Birthday planner
You’re gonna be busy making cards in the Summer Netty!
Entry number 48 is Moshie…
You all know that male cards are so hard to make, this fabulous bright card was made with the Toot Toot stamp and we also loved the sentiment behind it
Moshie arranged for her craft group to make Get Well cards for a little boy who had accident …and what a lovely thought and I’m sure the cards really cheered him up
Next is number 90 and that was Rian …
Rian made this gorgeous gift bag using James Big Heart
We all need gift bags, and what a lovely way to use the Sentiment Tags with the ribbon and the charms
This is entry number 96 and it’s by Jessica…
I adore pink and green together!
Jessica coloured our little Blossom stamp beautifully and made her the feature of this pretty card
Last but certainly not least is number 222 and it’s by Helen…
We loved the simplicity of this card using our From All Of Us stamp
Helen used some washi tape and isn’t it effective? I bought some of this but it’s been sat in the drawer as I’ve never quite known what to do with it
We’ll have a tutorial soon for making your own patterned tape with our papers so watch out for news of that shortly!
Well done, everyone, email me email@example.com for your Top 5 banner
As I said it was really hard to choose, we loved so many of your entries and changed our minds several times!
Maybe we should have a Top 20 instead!
The February challenge is ‘Name That Tune’ so get your thinking caps on, there are loads of songs that fit in with our stamps …and it’s quite good fun coming up with them!
We’ve had some very imaginative entries so far that we hadn’t thought of!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone, don’t forget to leave a comment to be in the draw for our daily candy …and I’ll see you tomorrow
