Love Balloon …

Good morning everyone

I didn’t manage to get into work yesterday, I did set off but the roads were so bad that I had to turn around and come back home. I’m not a nervous driver but it was a bit hairy even on the main roads. We didn’t have any more snow last night but it’s all frozen now so it’s quite treacherous   …wherever you are, please take care

I have another card to show you using the new stamps that went on sale yesterday, this is by Mindy she’s used Love Balloon

Another gorgeous card I’m sure you’ll agree  …and Mindy has used the new La-La Land heart banner that I NEED for my stash

I’ve searched high and low for this die but don’t think they are available in the UK yet  …boo hoo!

As soon as we can get hold of them we’ll have them in the shop so watch this space. Meanwhile don’t forget that you can visit us in Leeds and see our huge range of dies in the Lili of the Valley showroom  …we have Memory Box, Spellbinders, Marianne and Cheery Lynn. Also for 2013 (as requested by our customers) we have some of the new Noor designs that our DT have been using a lot

Enjoy your day and make sure you stop by tomorrow for another sneak peek at the new stamps

The Charleston…

Good morning, hope you all had a good weekend and that the weather wasn’t too bad. I think it’s been snowing all night here and we look to have about 5 inches, hopefully the main roads will be clear but I can’t even see the road in front of my house at the moment

Hooray, todays the day, we have 6 gorgeous new stamps for sale at midday!

They are the cutest romantic images and we wanted you to have them in plenty of time for making your Valentines cards

Good morning, I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend

Before todays cards I have some more very exciting news to share with you!

Lili of the Valley will have a stand at the popular ‘Artspecially Stempel Event’ in Zeist, Netherlands on 6th and 7th April!

There will be a selection of our latest stamps and loads of cards for inspiration all brought over for you by our Mick (he keeps all the stock topped up and helps Rich with the orders). He will be joined on the stand by our DT member Gretha and her friend Karin who both live locally to the show

So, all of you lovely people on the continent who can’t get to visit us in the UK can come and see us at the largest Stamp Event in Europe!

A sneaky peek …

Good morning crafters, we’re well and truly snowed in here so I’m planning to spend the day in the attic making some cards with the new stamps

I love to hear  when the kids are out sledging and screaming!! It’s so good to see them playing outside and having fun instead of sat watching TV or playing computer games!

Me and the white stuff don’t really get on these days, I like to look at it out of the window but that’s as far as it goes!

***

This is one of the new Romantic Couples that you can get from Monday and this one is called Carriage For Two

If you don't want to spend hours colouring in or you're a beginner then this image is perfect, it's so easy to colour

I’ve used some tags from our Sentiment Tags set. These are great as you don’t always have room for a big sentiment, it is nice to have some words on a card and I can always find a little space for one or two of these useful tags

I’ll put all the other supplies on my own blog and I’ll try my best to have another sneaky peek tomorrow for you. Meanwhile check out all the DT blogs as we’ve been cracking the whip and they’re working very hard to get some cards made using these stamps for you

Enjoy your Saturday, stay safe and warm

Exciting News …

Hello again, 2 posts in one day   …are you wondering what’s going on??

I have some Great News that I couldn’t wait to share. We have managed to get our ‘romantic couples’ stamps ready earlier than planned, so you will have more time to make your Valentine’s cards!

Six beautiful designs from our up and coming stamp release will be available from midday on Monday 21st January

You will be able to get all 6 for £24, making them only £4 each   …and it’s free postage!

Sneak peeks of the full set will still be shown from 20th  as planned but we’ve got our design team working overtime and we’re going to try and put some on over the weekend for you of these first 6 stamps

Be sure to check on here, on our Facebook page and all out DT blogs over the next few days

***

This is the first one from our Pops and she’s used Anniversary Surprise  ...how cute is this stamp!

Pops also used papers from our Petal Fresh and Promises pads on her lovely card
We have 5 new patterned paper pads coming shortly so watch out for news of those too

Pops will be putting this on her own blog so make sure you have a look for the rest of the details

***

Enjoy the rest of your day, hope the snow isn’t too bad for you

We don’t have any here at the moment …but it is forecast to be quite heavy this afternoon and over the weekend brrrr...

My Little Tree

Good morning crafters,!

I thought with the weather as it is, that it seems only fitting that I show another snowy card!!   …or would you maybe prefer something more cheerful?

***

This was made by Fleur at our open day before Christmas  …everyone was completely in awe watching her, Gretha and Lou colouring with distress inks. I’m going to have a go myself but I think  as with anything it takes a lot of patience and practise to be able to achieve results like this!

I love the simplicity of this card but if you look closely there are quite a few layers and certainly more to it than first meets the eye

We have this tree die available in our Leeds shop now and Fleur has used it beautifully here to create a little scene

The sentiment is from the hugely popular Christmas Grungy Message sheet

That’s it from me, enjoy your day everyone

The Perfect Snowman …

Good morning crafters, I hope you’re not snowed in this morning!

It’s not too bad here at the moment   …there is just enough to be an inconvenience

I remember when I was young thinking my Mum was a real misery because she didn’t like the snow but I’m saying just the same now and my kids think I’m a misery lol  …I’m getting old!!

***

This gorgeous card was made by our clever Moni and I thought it was perfect to share with you on this snowy morning, I’m sure this is what all the children will be doing this afternoon!

The Perfect Snowman - Moni
