Cake Glorious Cake …

Morning everyone, hope you’re all enjoying the weekend

It’s Sunday and I’ve nothing planned so I’m hoping to fit in some lovely crafty time today!

I seem to have been busy lately, before you know it another week has whizzed by! Sadly crafting is the thing that always seems to go if I’m short of time and I’m just dying to get up in the attic and surround myself with my stash, I love it and could happily spend all my spare time up there!

I have a beautiful card to show you today, Debbie made this one and she’s used Cake Glorious Cake

Cake Glorious Cake - Debbie

This stamp is very popular with both our customers and our Design Team, she’s so cute and it can be used for many different occasions

Debbie also used the handy Sentiment Tags

Hope you like it, don’t forget to let us know what you think and I’ll draw a voucher winner from this weeks comments tomorrow

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Always and Forever …

Good morning bloggers, don’t forget that we’ll be at the Happy Stampers show today at Port Sunlight

If you’re going along then make sure you visit us on Stand 28   …Rich will be there with a (bad!) joke or two as always and Dawny might be popping along to help too

I thought we’d have a little break from Christmas over the weekend, this is a card I made using our fab new paper pad Always and Forever

Little Mermaid 2 - Anne

The stamp is Little Mermaid 2 and it was coloured in by Dena for advertising, it seemed such a shame not to make it into a card and these lovely papers matched perfectly

The sentiment is from the useful Simply Sophisticated set

Hope you like it, I love to know what you think and as always one of the comments from the week will be drawn on Monday and win a£10 voucher

Have a lovely Saturday, see you tomorrow

Christmas Bunting …

Morning all, thanks for stopping by

Friday again and another week has flown by!

There’s still time to enter our September challenge, the theme for this month is Ribbon and Lace so all you need to do is use ribbon, lace or both on your card along with a Lili of the Valley image – it’s a nice easy one, I think most of us like to pop a bit of ribbon somewhere on our cards!

I have another Christmas card to share today, this is by Elise and she has used Christmas Bunting

Christmas Bunting - Elise

Elise sent us this beautiful card and it’s on display in the shop, the picture doesn’t do it justice at all! She also used the Christmas Handwritten Phrases which have been really popular this year

Hope you like it, that’s it from me for today but be sure to stop by over the weekend as I’ll still have a new card each day to share

Enjoy your Friday!

Open days, workshops and Snow Family …

Morning all, thanks for stopping by

Before today’s card a few dates for your diary;

Our shop will be open on Saturday 12th October instead of the 5th. We are usually open the first Saturday of the month but it clashes with the Harrogate show and we know that most of our customers like to visit the show. The workshops for this date are all now fully booked.

November 2nd is the first of our seasonal open days, as always there will be demos, refreshments and special offers. The workshops for this date are also fully booked

November 30th is our final open day of the year and will be our Christmas party! The all day workshops with Dawny have been so popular that we are planning another so make sure you get your name down as it’s already filling up quickly. The cost is £40 and you will do 5 cards and projects throughout the day, all materials are provided and you will take home your finished items. This will be the same format as before but the makes will be different and everyone who has attended previous classes has really enjoyed the day!

Another Christmas card today and one of my favourite stamps from the 2013 Christmas collection (I seem to say that quite a lot, I have many favourites!!)

This is Snow Family and our Fleur made this lovely card …

Snow Family - Fleur

Fleur has used a sentiment from Christmas Handwritten Phrases

We’ve had lots of requests for these cute DooHickey tree dies so now have them in the shop at last and should have the fence shortly

They won’t be going on the website but we are happy happy to post dies out so give us a call if you would like to order these. We also have the Spellbinders Floral Ovals and the Cheery Lynn snowflakes that Fleur has used on this card

We’ve had quite a few customers asking why we only have the dies, punches, pens etc in the shop. The website will continue to be only for our own products, the shop is great but is there because we have the premises and we have no plans to become a general online craft supplier  …there are so many already

That’s it from me, see you tomorrow for another Theme Thursday and I’ll let you know who was the winner of the Perfect Pair paper pad in last weeks draw

Have a good day

Morning crafters, sorry the post is a bit late today

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, the weather is still good here and a beautiful day is forecast for today   ..I hope it’s sunny where you are too!

If you went along to Ally Pally this weekend hope you had a good day and spent all your pennies on lots of crafty goodies.? It is a show that I’ve never been to and I would like to go, general opinion seems to be that it’s one of the nicest shows!

I‘ll announce last weeks voucher winner tomorrow as I’m running a bit late today, I thought we’d have a summery card to match the weather and this is by Mary J

skipping - Mary

Mary always makes really colourful and cheerful cards, this is our Skipping stamp which has been very popular with our customers

This cute little image is also in the Just For Girls art pad, these are pre-coloured toppers so great if you’re not a stamper or just want a quick card. You can see the full range here

Skating Fun …

Morning everyone, how’s your weekend going?

We’re having a bit of an Indian Summer here and the weather is still lovely, I’m trying to get the garden tidied up because I know once Autumn arrives I won’t want to do it and then it will be scruffy until Spring!

This is a card I had on my own blog last week, I like creating little scenes with dies …and snowy ones especially!

As soon as I saw these little guys skating around I knew what I wanted to do with them…

PTW25 - Sparkle

skating fun

The stamp is Skating Fun which features our popular Jack and Patch characters, the little circular sentiment is one of our Greetings Postmarks

The rest of the supplies are on my blog here if you’d like to know what I used

Have a fab Sunday everyone, see you tomorrow

Andrea used this adorable coloured image from one of our Art pads. this is in Pad 9 ‘Party and Cake’

What a fab card, you can’t get much more pink and girlie than this!

Have a look at Andrea’s own blog here to see details for this card and all of her other beautiful work

Angelic Lute …

Morning all, thanks for stopping by

I’d thought I’d dig out one of the older Christmas images today and this card is by our Moni

The stamp is called Angelic Lute and Moni also used a greeting from our useful Christmas Circular Sentiments

Angelic Lute (5)

We’ve had so many requests from our customers for the DooHickey dies that were used on this card that we have a selection available in the shop now

The poinsettia has sold out at the moment but we do still have a few of the swirl left, this is a very popular die and is used by most of our design team

We don’t have the dies or any of the general craft supplies from the shop on our website, however we are happy to post dies so if you did want to order one just give us a call or email

See you tomorrow, have a good Friday everyone

A few newsy bits! ….

A quick post this afternoon just to give you some information….

Firstly, the website will be down from 10pm tonight until 6am tomorrow morning (UK time). You won’t be able to access it during this time but don’t worry it’s just for some routine maintenance and will be back to normal tomorrow – sorry for any inconvenience this causes

Secondly, thank you so much to everyone who has placed an order with us this week. With the launch of the new Art Pads and also the 10% off sale, as you can probably imagine, we have been completely inundated with orders. We are working hard to get them all packed and dispatched but we have Ally Pally this weekend so just to let you know that it will take us a few days longer than usual to get them sent out to you

Finally regarding the Frosty Christmas paper pads;  we have managed to get hold of some to take to Ally Pally for those of you going there and the rest will be delivered to us at the beginning of next week. As soon as we have them here on Tuesday they will be put back in stock on the website so you won’t have long to wait!

That’s it, enjoy the rest of your Thursday everyone and I’ll be back tomorrow
