Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by!
Today we are holding a design team blog hop to celebrate the launch of our gorgeous Pretty Vintage stamps
There are 26 new clear stamp sets and it’s a fabulous mix of backgrounds, sentiments, quotes, tags and more...
They keep up perfectly with the current trend for all things vintage and grungy whilst still retaining a bit of the feminine charm that you’ve come to expect from Lili of the Valley!
The stamps will be available to buy on the website from midnight (12am) on Wednesday 12th June (UK time)
The LOTV design team are all joining in …and you may have noticed a new name on the list today…
we’re all thrilled to welcome our new teamie ...it’s the very fabulous Mary J!
My mum is Chinese and my dad part English and Portuguese. Born in Hong Kong, I came to England when I was 2 years old and now live in a small village in East Sussex with my husband Steve and our two Yellow Labradors called Poppy and Lulu.
Most of all we love going for long walks along the coast and spending time with family.
Workwise, I am a senior project manager based in Central London for a large corporate company – which means I have the discipline to juggle my life with lots of creating!
I found card making through a friend several years ago and I’ve now got the crafting bug BIG time! I like to experiment, using different styles, mediums and techniques. My favourite has to be stamping though – as my husband says, “Are you colouring in again?” cheeky so and so…
Some of you will already be familiar with Mary’s work, she makes the most gorgeous cards, a bit different from what you will normally see from us, and she’s going to complement our talented design team perfectly! Make sure you give her a big welcome as you go round the hop today!
Onto the blog hop, and as always you just need to ‘hop’ from one blog to another following the links and leave a comment on each card, we know that these stamps might take some of you out of your comfort zone so hopefully we can give you lots of ideas and inspiration along the way for using the new images
There is an amazing prize up for grabs on this hop, we don’t know where it is hidden so do make sure you that you visit and comment on every blog
We will let you know tomorrow evening which was the ‘lucky’ blog and a winner will be drawn at random from all the comments that were left on that blog

Ideas to Inspire (you’re here)
Here’s a card to get us going, thanks to Louise Collins who made this lovely one for our showroom, isn’t it a bit different…
The ‘good luck’ is from one of the 3 new Statement stamp sets, large wording designed to be the feature of your card
The design behind it is one of the Vintage Backgrounds embossed with white
There are 3 sheets of useful tags; Monsieur, Madame and Le Jardin
The bird and the little embellishments are made using other Vintage Background stamps
Don’t forget to stop by the Ideas to Inspire blog tomorrow evening when you can find out who the lucky winner is of this fantastic prize
Enjoy the hop… and good luck!
