Good morning everyone, the weekend again and I hope you’re all planning to do something nice
I have another card to share today from our Guest Designer for June – Anita
If you had a look through Anita’s blog you’ll have seen that she creates some very unusual and beautiful folded cards …
The base is made from the Sizzix Accordion 3d flip album
The frame is stamped with Grunge Corners using Versamark and then a heat embossing powder
She’s used Hero Arts shadow ink in four shades from yellow to red on white base card blending it into a beautiful background
Together Forever is coloured with distress ink and a water brush, then die cut with a Spellbinders shape and the edges inked to match the base card
The Good Luck text is from Set 28 Vintage Labels – Occasions stamped, put on a tag and then placed in the pocket.
Anita used Set 24 Sentiment Tags in the Tim Holtz film strip die, what a fab idea!
The border die and flower are Magnolia DooHickey, a few pearls, and Anita’s little project is created for you!
Isn’t it gorgeous, there are some really clever and interesting ideas here so I hope it’s given you some inspiration
I love that she hasn’t used any backing papers. I think we’ve all (and I’m front of the queue) have got a bit obsessed with all the beautiful papers that are around at the moment and you tend to forget what lovely effects can be created with your inks
I know you’re going to leave lots of comments on this beautiful card anyway …but don’t forget our draw on Monday, a random winner will be drawn from all the comments and we’ll give away another £10 voucher
If you haven’t already been then do visit Anita’s own blog here to see more of her amazing cards
Enjoy your Saturday, see you tomorrow
