I should have known that she wouldn’t be able to resist sneaking a few little flowers on there somewhere lol    …but what a beautiful card, I’m sure you’ll agree

Big Hug …and some news

Good morning crafters, thanks for stopping by  …and I hope you all have some nice things planned for the weekend

I have some news for you today, you will notice a few changes to our blog over the coming weeks. There is going to be more to look at when you do visit us and you will see additional pages popping up along the top  …more about those shortly!

The first big change is going to be the commenters candy. We get lots of lovely comments left on the cards that we share and to show you that we do appreciate all the feedback that you leave for us the prize will change from a £25 voucher at the end of the month to a £10 voucher every week. We will continue to feature a new card every single day and now you will have a chance to win a £10 voucher each week just for leaving us a comment!

Lucy does a theme day on our Facebook page most Thursdays and it is very popular  …so, we will be having something similar on the blog once a week, lots more lovely card inspiration for you AND there will be random giveaways

Finally (for now!) we are planning to have a monthly challenge. Some of you may remember that we used to have a weekly challenge which is now run independently as a fan site. We will have a new one here on the blog once a month and you will have the full month to make and enter a card. Again there will be some great prizes up for grabs so watch out for our first one on May 1st

How does all that sound for starters, lots of freebies I can hear you shouting  …got to be good right??

Onto todays card and this is featuring two of our new characters Patch and Jack …

JPP Big Hug - Lou

This stamp is called Big Hug

Our Lou made this lovely card and she’s used a little sentiment from one of our older (but still very popular) stamp sets called Calendars

In The Country …

Good morning crafters, thanks for all your lovely comments on Jen’s card yesterday, I’m pleased that you liked it and you gave her a lovely welcome

I want to  let you know about a SPECIAL OFFER  on the ebay outlet, run by our Lucy it’s the only official way to get hold of all our discontinued stock

The Die Cuts and Mini Masterpiece sheets have been replaced on the main LOTV site by the new Art and Sketch pads so they will be in the ebay store soon

It will probably a couple of weeks before they appear on there but to make a bit more room for the new stock Lucy is having a Buy One Get One Free offer

She can't mix and match packs unfortunately as that would be too time consuming but anything that you buy you will get 2 packs instead of 1, what a bargain!

The sale lasts until the end of April or until stocks run out - whichever is sooner

Any questions please message Lucy via ebay

She is more than happy to ship overseas (even though it says UK only) but unfortunately shipping is expensive so please contact her for a quote before you buy

I have another Sneak Peek for you today of the new Vintage Boys…

our Gretha made this lovely card and the image is called In The Country

The sentiment is from Set 28 Vintage Labels Occasions

Gretha is going to put the card on her own blog if you would like to see the other supplies that she’s used

There’s another sneek peek over on my own blog today so do take a look. We’ll also have some on Facebook  and the design team will be showing them on their own blogs over the next couple of weeks

See you tomorrow x

Welcome Jen …and a sneaky peek!

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a fab weekend

Thanks for stopping by, I have exciting news today  …we’re starting sneak peeks today of our new Vintage Boys which will be for sale as stamps in a couple of weeks …hooray!

If you have the new art and sketch pads you will have already seen these fabulous images, they are so cute (but not too cute!)  and we know you are going to LOVE them!

My second bit of news is that we have a new Design Team member and I’d like you all to help me give a very warm Lili of the Valley welcome to…

Here’s a little bit about her …

Cruise Oct-11 002

Hi, I'm Jen and I live in Bolton in the north west. I'm an accountant by day and a crafter by night... with a little help from my two furry friends.  I’ve been crafting for as long as I remember and blogging for just over 2 years.  My other half thinks I have way to much crafty stash... but it's an addiction what can I say, plus what would I use the spare room for if it wasn't my studio!!

Some of you might be familiar with her work already, we have been looking for a while for someone who can do CAS style cards using our images and as soon as we saw Jen’s cards we knew we had found our new team member

Jen is also on the Design Team for the fabulous Less Is More challenge (of course she is!) as well as  Passion For Promarkers. Sketch Saturday and Seize The Birthday

Jen has made our first sneak peek which will kick off the run up to the next stamp launch…

A Lick Of Paint - Jen

This image is called A Lick Of Paint and Jen has also used our Country Gent papers and a couple of Sentiment Tags

I hope you like it, I’m so pleased to be able to bring you a different style of card  …and hopefully give you lots of ideas for making your own

You can see more of Jen’s work on her own lovely blog here so do make sure you pay her a visit

The DT will all be sharing their sneak peeks over the next couple of weeks so make sure you check out all their blogs every day so that you don’t miss anything

Links to them all can be found to the right of this page and also on the website

That’s it from me for now, enjoy your day x

Little Geisha Girl …

Morning all, how’s your weekend so far?

We had a day out yesterday so I’m hoping to get in the attic and do some crafting today. I have so many things that I want to do, the list is getting longer and there is just never enough time!

Paper crafting projects rather than just cards are high on my own to do list, you enjoyed seeing Lou’s little hanger yesterday and I have another one to share with you today…

This was made by our April guest designer  …I’d like to welcome back the fabulous Mary from The Ribbon Girl

Mary 3 April - Geish Box

Mary enjoys making boxes and won a competition with a Christmas example that she’d made for us last year

She’s used one of our little Geisha Girls today and this is Aimi

The lovely papers are all from the Promises paper pad which is unfortunately out of stock at the moment but will be back in soon

Mary has of course also used lots of  gorgeous lace and embellishments from The Ribbon Girl, do go and have a look around their shop it’s an Aladdin's cave of gorgeousness

Mary will put the box on her own blog here if you would like to know exactly what she used

That’s it from me for today, I have an extra special post for tomorrow so be sure to pop back

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Patchwork Hanger …

Good morning, it’s given a lovely forecast here today so I think we’re going to head off to the Coast and take the dog   …time to blow a few of those winter cobwebs off with a lovely long walk along the beach (and maybe even some fish and chips!!)

I have an adorable little project to share with you today by our clever Lou

Lou Patchwork Hanger

You all loved the paper patchwork tutorial that Lou did for us a while back so this is something you might like to have a go at if you did want to try the technique

If you missed it you can find it on the tutorials page of our website here

The stamp Lou has used is Bluebells and Primulas and the greeting is on our useful Everyday Grungy Messages stamp set

I’ve tried putting buttons on my own cards but they never seem to look quite right  …Lou uses them all the time and they always look so cute!

Have a lovely day, see you tomorrow when I’ll have another piece of work from our April guest designer Mary  …and don’t forget to leave a comment, it’s nearly time for the £25  voucher draw!

Bluebells and Primulas …

Good morning everyone, Friday again  …where on earth do these weeks go?

I thought we’d have some lovely Spring flowers today seeing as the weather has been so nice recently…

This design is called Bluebells and Primulas and you can get it either as a stamp or in one of  our new pads

You can see the coloured option here and the black and white here

This gorgeous card was made by our Mindy and she’s used one of the handy little greetings from our scroll sentiments set …

Hope you like it, that’s it from me for today   …have a lovely weekend everyone

Moving Day ...

Good morning everyone, hope this finds you all well?

I thought we’d have a change today and show a card with an older image, this is by Fleur and she’s used Moving Day

Moving Day - Fleur

This stamp is really popular and our design team have used it a lot, what a lovely new home card to send to your friends and family
The greeting is from our useful Set 7 For You circular sentiments
Some of the dies that Fleur has used are available in our shop; the leaves, the butterflies and the kiwi doily. Don’t forget that we have a huge range of dies from Spellbinders, Cheery Lynn, LaLa Land, Memory Box, Noor Design and more
Our Spellbinder dies are all below RRP and we have a lovely selection that are further reduced in price at the moment to make way for some new stock
If there is a particular one that you want and you can’t get to our shop then do give us a ring and if we have it we would be happy to post it out to you

Don’t forget to leave a comment to make sure you are in the draw for the £25 voucher at the end of the month

Have a lovely day

New Art and Sketch Pads out now …

Good morning crafters, thanks for stopping by

I saw that the design team were looking after you in my absence and they all had some lovely cards to share with you   …thank you very much girls!

We’re going to have a few changes to the blog shortly so make sure you watch out for more news about that over the next couple of weeks

The new art and sketch pads are now available and from the feedback we’ve had you are loving them

The art pads have coloured images all ready for you to just cut and use on your cards, super quick and easy

The sketch pads are something a bit different and we don’t think there is anything quite like them around. They have black and white images on lovely smooth card that are ready colour  …so if you like to use your markers and pencils but don’t have many stamps, or don’t like to stamp, then these are the ones for you

Each pad has 30 images, 3 each of 10 designs and they’re great value at £6 each

There are lots of your favourite images in them and there are also some brand new ones that you won’t have seen yet!

This card is to show you another way to use the pads, I cut one of the images up and just used part of it instead of the whole picture

There are 3 of the same design in each pad so if you like to do decoupage then they are perfect for that too…

PTW3 - One patterend paper

I used patterned paper from the Candles And Cake pad. I love these papers they are so bright and cheerful    …and perfect for those hard to make boys cards

I’ve put full instructions on my own blog here if you would like to have a go

Don’t forget that all the comments go into a draw at the end of each month to win a £25 voucher, we will have some exciting news about the candy soon but make sure you don’t miss out on your chance to win the April voucher

Have a lovely day

Big Hug

Hi dear friends,

it´s Moni here and I would like to share with you another card I made using one of the new images called Big Hug, isn´t it the sweetest?!

I´ve colored it in to some fab papers of the Paper Pad Country Gent and I also used a sentiment from the Sentiment to Fit Scroll Set, which I add on a little tag.

Thanks for looking today and I hope you enjoy your day :)

Big Hugs
