Next we need to just have a little bit of a moan!
Since we have joined Pinterest we have become aware that there are an awful lot of pins of our stamped images that do not include watermarks
We’re sure that most people just do it for reference and probably don't even realise that there is a problem …but as you know we don't produce digi images and pinning them without the watermark is against our copyright
Can we ask anyone on Pinterest to please check your boards and delete any pins that are LOTV images without watermarks. You are very welcome to pin images directly from our website that are protected by a watermark
Our Pinterest boards, the blog and the card galleries on the website contain over 1000 card samples for your inspiration and we are more than happy for you to put these onto your own boards
We will be starting to monitor this situation in order to protect our artists and the integrity of our products, if any of you that do go on Pinterest (or indeed anywhere else) notice that our images are being copied or shared we would be very grateful if you bring it to our attention. Any information that we receive will of course be treated confidentially
Many thanks for your cooperation x

Onto todays card now and this is something a bit different …we can always rely on our Lou to think outside the box!
Lou has used Milly Flower Power and cleverly paper pieced the flower to match the background
The sentiments are from our Everyday Grungy Messages and I love how she’s used one in the centre of the flower
The little fence is a Memory Box die that we have in our shop. It’s been heat embossed with silver powder to look like metal, a simple technique but isn’t it effective?

That’s it from me, have a lovely day everyone and make sure you stop by later to see if you were a lucky winner in our fantastic 3000 followers candy draw
Tomorrow I’ll have news for you about our next stamp release!!

Lovely card today, such gorgeous colours, Kate x
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card and the idea to make the fence look metal is brilliant..I will try that myself. Thanks for all the tips. I am a bit confused about the watermarks Anne as lots of the photos on the LOTV Pinboards have no watermarks? Mine is watermarked but I only did this recently and I know a lot of crafters are not sure how to do it. I am looking forward to seeing the new release...how exciting. Have a great Tuesday x
