Abracadabra!

Good morning, it’s the end of October so sadly time for the last post from our fabulous guest designer for this month Mandy

Mandy has made a perfect card for Halloween and used our popular Abracadabra! stamp…

Isn’t it fab!

She’s coloured him in with Copic markers and the papers are Magnolia & Prima

Those little scrabble tiles are from fuzzimo, a new site to me but I know some of you have been looking for them so worth a mention as they are a free download

Good morning crafters, hope I find you all well on this Autumn day. The weather has changed now and all the leaves have fallen from the trees – I do like the Autumn I have to say, we usually get some lovely fresh and blustery days

 

On those grey and damp days that we inevitably have though what better way to spend them than crafting  …I hope we give you lots of ideas on here for your own cards and projects

Good morning crafters, it’s Friday again – where do these weeks go?

Don’t forget it’s our Christmas open day tomorrow if you are near enough to visit us in Leeds. There will be mulled wine and mince pies  …and lots going on. We’ve trimmed the showroom up and it look amazing, we’re all feeling very festive now and you’ll be able to get hold of all our Christmas products as well as lots of other crafting goodies

Fairy With Dove …

 

 

 

Good morning crafters,

Another sneak peek of the new stamps today - this by Pops and she’s used Fairy With Dove…

…if your going to the HobbyCrafts show at the SECC this week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) you’ll be able to get these before anyone else has them because we’re launching them there! If you can’t get there they will be available at our open day on Saturday (at the Lili of the Valley showroom in Leeds) and then they will be on sale on the website from midnight on Tuesday

 

 

 

 

 

 

AND, I HAVE SOME  EXCITING NEWS!  …we have 3 sets of the new stamps to giveaway in an exclusive Facebook competition, so if you haven’t paid our page a visit then make sure you do so…

Little Mermaid …

Morning all!

We’ve had amazing feedback so far about our new mermaid designs and we’re really pleased that you like them as much as we do!

 

This is the 3rd stamp in the in the set and this lovely card was made by our Mindy

 

Mindy has used patterned papers from our Petal Fresh pad on her card and you can get the Wild Orchid Craft flowers and ribbon in our showroom if you want to have a go at making this lovely card yourselves

Some sneaky peeks of our new fairies …

Good morning crafters,  I have a couple more sneaky peeks for you today of our latest fairies…

 

 ...they go on sale on the website at midnight next Tuesday, but you’ll be able to get hold of them early if you are able to visit us on Saturday. We’re having another one of our open days at our showroom in Leeds and this one is going to be our Christmas Crafting Spectacular!

 

The shop will be bursting with all things Christmassy, including all our Christmas products (if you haven’t yet bought them) and some fabulous products for your festive cards and projects

The colouring classes are now full but we’ll have some fabulous free demonstrations including how to stamp onto candles, how colour with pencils onto ‘Kraft’ paper and more

 

There will also be some tasty refreshments including mulled wine and mince pies and some fun competitions where you can win prizes!

 

If you are away for the school holiday week in the UK, don’t despair! We have a fabulous LOTV Party planned for Saturday 24^th November, our final open day of 2012, which everyone can attend, either in person (although it would be quite full!) or virtually, though our online Facebook party. We are also open every Saturday until 1^st December

The 2 new fairies are Bumblebee Fairy and Fairy With Dove ...and our Fleur and Lou have made these 2 scrummy cards to show you…

Another sneaky peek …

 

Good morning crafters, hope you all had a lovely weekend!

 

I have another little sneak peek for you today using one of our new mermaid stamps. There are 3 mermaids and a couple of new fairies and they will be available at our next Open Day on October 27th and also at the Glasgow Hobby Crafts show which is 25th to 28th October

If you’re not able to attend ether of those events then they will be on sale on the website from Tuesday 30th October

Today’s card was made by our lovely Katarina, she’s used one of the new mermaids and patterned papers from our Promises pad

 

 

There aren’t many mermaids on the market …and if you find one it certainly won’t be anywhere near as pretty as these little cuties!

 

 

 

 

The greeting on the card is one of our Girlie Banners and the little ‘hugs’ tag is from our useful Sentiment Tags set

Back to Christmas ….

Good morning all, the weekend again already – doesn’t the time just fly by!

Just a reminder that our showroom is still open every Saturday until December 1st (10-4)   …we appreciate that some of you can’t get here during the week because of work, school etc. so hope you’ll be able to visit us then

We have our next open day coming up on October 27th, there will be lots going on and a chance to get hold of the new fairies and mermaid stamps early so watch out for more details of that shortly

I haven’t posted any Christmas cards for a while so thought we’d have a change today, these 2 beautiful cards were made by our Moni

This first card uses one of my favourite stamps from this years Christmas designs – Light The Way

Moni had also used papers from our Classic Christmas pad and a greeting from the Christmas Circular Sentiments sheet

The second card is Snow Queen, she is great for winter birthdays as well as Christmas cards  …you can also get her already coloured on a Mini Masterpiece sheet

The greetings on the card are from Grunge Christmas Messages and Calendars

Good morning everybody, it’s the weekend again and we’re having some lovely weather here in Leeds.

We’ve had some beautiful bright and breezy days with just a bit of a nip in the air; I love Autumn when it’s like this and I hope you’re managing to find time to sneak in a bit of crafting on this lovely sunny Sunday!

 

Only 1 more day to go until the release of our new Mini Masterpiece sheets and I have another little sneaky peek for you today;

 

 

 

This is one of our older images and was on one of most popular die cut sheets called Vintage Girls. That sheet has now sold out so I’m sure you’ll be pleased to see these lovely little girls brought back as a Mini Masterpiece  …beautifully coloured in as always for you by our Bev

The little blue felt flowers are new to our showroom and they are SO cute! …we have them in various colours and styles

Another sneaky peek ….

Good morning everyone, thanks as always for stopping by    …and I hope you can find a little bit of crafty inspiration while you’re here!

I have another sneaky peek of the new Mini Masterpiece sheets to show you today;

This is Christmas Star, she was one of our best selling Christmas images this year and we’re bringing her to you now beautifully coloured and ready to use!

I did some layering on this card, each sheet has 1 larger image, 2 medium and 4 smaller ones so they are great if you like to decoupage

I used the medium size picture and from the second one cut out the tree, the star, her coat and her boots. It’s not a technique I use often but I was pleased with the result although you can’t see it very well on the picture

The sentiment is from our Christmas Circular Sentiments set and the backing papers (which I thought went really well with the little trees!) are from our Classic Christmas pad

New Mini Masterpiece sheets out soon ….

 

Hi everyone, I have great news for all you mini masterpiece lovers …

…the next 16 sheets will be launched on the website at midnight UK time next Tuesday 16th October (that's the midnight between Monday and Tuesday!)

There will be a mixture of boys, girls and Christmas

I know a few of you (myself included) struggle with using the darker colours so this one will be very popular I think  …all the hard work has been done for you by our fabulous Bev so you can get straight on with making your lovely card without worrying about the colouring!
