Goodbye to Gretha….

 

 

 

Good morning bloggers, it’s the last day of June which means we sadly have to say goodbye to our guest designer of the month.

Gretha has made some beautiful things for us throughout the month and this last one is no exception;

A little bookmark…

Good morning crafters, I hope this terrible rain hasn't affected you where you live, the Summer is a bit of a wash out so far isn't it.

My daugher is doing Race For Life tomorrow at Temple Newsham in Leeds, we've had everything crossed for a nice day but the forecast is not good.

So many fetes, festivals, sports day etc have had to be cancelled, it's such a shame.

I have a treat for you today! Lena Katrine has made this divine little corner bookmark using one of the new little stamps from our Summer Bears companion set.

How cute is this!

The companion set is an A5 sheet with 7 stamps and 10 sentiments that can be used alongside our Summer bears stamps or on their own.

At just £12.50 for the set it’s great value for money too.

She’s used Promarkers and Prisma colour pencils to colour the image and I think it would make a lovely little gift

Lena left our design team a while ago but she still occasionally does sneak peeks for us using our new images. She's made another one which I will be showing you in a few days time so don't miss that.

Lili of the Valley goes Origami

First off today we have a little quick gift card holder to show you by Claudia Rosa using the new Summer bears which are out now.

Its fairly quick made and perfect for gift giving and those little cute Lili of the Valley images. I had made it initially to give this my son’s teacher. I might put a tutorial up on my blog soon, how to make this. I am just so busy with my trip and the reno in my house has not even started yet.

To decorate the outside of the holder I used a image from the Cute Companion set – lots of sweet images and matching sentiments. In the inside I used one image of my favorite set from the new Summer bears Posy Trio. 


I finished the holder up with a sentiment tag also by Lili of the Valley.



Claudia also made this gorgeous card using present trio

Sunny Days & Smiles

Hello friends! What do you all think of the new Summer Bears coming out on the 25th? I just adore them! I got the pleasure of creating a little card and gift set using the Sunny Days & Smiles bear along with something new to LOTV, companion stamps. These little versions of stamps are a perfect compliment to the larger stamps because you can use them on the inside of your card, for smaller tags, boxes and tons of other projects where you need a smaller sized image. LOVE this idea!

Here's what I created with them. I used the larger, normal sized stamp for the card, then colored  the smaller coordinating stamp and used it on the matching candy dispenser.

I got the Candy Dispenser Box from the Silhouette Store and cut it out on my Cameo. It is perfect for little candies or chocolates, it is so cute!

It's the weekend so hopefully I'll find time to do some crafting. I love it when the football is on because it means my husband is nicely occupied for a couple of hours and I can take myself off into the attic!

Summer Bears Sneak Peeks

Good Morning Crafters!

I'm so lucky to have this day to show off some sneak peeks I made, using the cute little bears from the upcoming Summer Bears release from Lili of the Valley the 25th :)

First up is a Calendar Page I made, using two of the fun and cute bears from "Present Trio".

The second project I've made, is an Easel Card using the cute image "A Little Message" and a sentiment from the "Summer Bears Companion Stamps Set".

The 3rd one, is a tiny Square Box, where I've used the adorable image "Blooming Lovely" on the top, and a cute little image and a sentiment from the "Summer Bears Companion Stamps Set" inside.

All images are coloured with Promarkers & Prismacolors.

Gretha has used our happy together stamp and coloured it with distress inks.

Colouring with inks is very popular at the moment but it does take quite a bit of practice to achieve this level of dimension

And it IS a happy Monday today because today is the day that we start to share the new Summer Bears release with you.

This new release is, as always, absolutely gorgeous and super sweet and will go on sale on 25th June. So between now and then, keep an eye out on the DT blogs, as well as here on the Ideas To Inspire blog.

The images are quite clever I think because they are perfect for everyone so will be a great addition to your stash. And they come with a sentiment as well – just perfect :)

... Fun Birthday.

I’ve gone for pastels here which makes the image really stand out. I’ve used soft and pretty colours but you could easily change them, along with the papers,  and turn this into a man’s card with very little effort.

Copics I’ve used are -

B0000, E42, E43, E50, E51, E81, RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV14, RV34, YG0000, YG23 (plus polychromos pencils)

and the papers are from the Nitwits  FQB Stuffed With Love collection

A perfect sentiment for a perfect image :)
