Some special offers!

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a good weekend!  it’s quite frosty in Leeds this morning but thankfully no sign of any snow.
Just a quick reminder that we have some stamps on sale at special reduced prices for a limited time. There is a lovely selection of Spring animals along with a few of our other favourites. Have a look here on our special offers page.
This card is using Pom Pom which was the first ever stamp I bought from Lili of the Valley and still one of my most used images. You can buy her at the moment for just £3.00

Pom Pom (5)

The backing paper is made using our roses background stamp which is also on special offer. These designs are so versatile, I just stamped this with some spun sugar distress ink but you can get some amazing backgrounds by embossing with clear ink and then colouring over it with distress inks or using a resist technique.
The little heart stamp is from our fantastic new set of love sentiments
The other cards/papers are magnolia and core’dinations, the flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid crafts, and the cutting dies are Spellbinders and Nellies multi frames.

Have a good Monday x

One for the Boys

It’s Lili’s Little Fairies Challenge today and this week our challenge is to make a card for a boy (or in my case man lol).  I have made a valentines card and although there are the usual flowers on it does it for me.

bev-rochester-lotv-bubble-bath

I have used Bubble Bath from Lili of the Valley, as well as the Grunge Corners and Love Sentiments.

bev-rochester-lotv-bubble-bath-1

The paper is Prima Alla Prima pad, the ribbon is Light Scallop Blue Trim and both are from Dies to Die For.

The gorgeous turquoise flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, I spritzed them with chalk white glimmer spray then inked them with Walnut Stain.

Love Grows

My card today is a totally new colour scheme for me.  It’s not often I colour with the E93 – E99 family but I love this Prima Romantique paper so it had to be done.  The pretty lace is Grand Lace Trim but I am being frugal and cut it in half, so twice the lace for 1/2 the price lol

bev-rochester-lotv-love-grows

The stamp is Love Grows from Lili of the Valley.  I have also used the new Love Sentiments and Grunge Corners on the card.  These stamps are just totally fab and having them clear is such a bonus.

The seam binding and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used 4mm rose buds, 15mm roses, 20mm roses and 25mm hybrid tea rose

A close up of the heart from the Love Sentiments which I stamped onto Kraft in Walnut Stain then stamped the Cherish sentiment in black ink.

bev-rochester-lotv-love-grows2

The inside showing the Grunge Corners in use, love them (think I already said that lol)

bev-rochester-lotv-love-grows3

A close up of the image, I coloured the sky with the ink and brush technique (video tutorial on my Video Tutorials page.

And that’s it from me today, must dash Smile

bev-rochester-lotv-all-our-dreams-190112
