Fur Cones, and the NEC …

Good morning crafters, before today’s card I’d just like to confirm that we will not be going to the HobbyCrafts show at the NEC this week

We haven’t advertised that we would be and it hasn’t been on our list of craft shows that is always kept up to date on the website  …poor Lucy has still had so many emails asking if we will be there, some of them not very happy when we’ve said we won’t be going Sad smile

We’re sorry if you’re disappointed but we’ve concentrated this year on smaller shows and some that are more local to our area, we are still a small Company and the costs involved in attending a large show such as the NEC are very very high. It also means that when our staff are attending the show they are not in the office which is impractical now that we have the showroom as well as the online shop

You can get everything we would have at the show on the website …and we still have free postage** at the moment. You don’t even have to leave your house to get hold of everything you need and all the cards we display on our stand for inspiration are in the website galleries or here on the blog

We haven’t decided yet about the Spring shows but as soon as we do we will put a list on the website here. If it’s not on the list – we won’t be there!

** please note that the free shipping offer doesn’t include orders that contain paper pads, because of the weight of them we do make a small charge towards toward the cost of postage – full details are on the website

Onto todays card, this is Fur Cones and it was made by our Elise

Fur Cones - Elise

Elise has used our Christmas Mini Icon Tags – the sheet contain 36 separate little tags each with a tiny Christmas icon, they are so versatile and at £12.50 great value for money

She’s also used backing papers from our Krafty Christmas pad

Hope you like it, see you tomorrow

  4. Can quite understand why you are not doing the NEC. I am not going this year as I went to Ally Pally where I was lucky enough to buy some of your gorgeous stamps. Loving the free p&p at the moment, in fact very tempted to buy some more stamps. Adore the tiny tags on this gorgeous card, fabulous colouring.

  14. i think some crafters do not realise quite how expensive it is for a small company to attend these large shows. it seriously costs a lot of money and then you have to worry about accommodation, stock, staff etc! with the fact that you have free p&p on stamps is good for us! hope no one has been too mean to your lovely staff! 15. To be honest, I used to go to the NEC, but this year discovered Ally Pally (where it's great to see you!). It is a much much better show, smaller and still with all the best craft companies and great demos...we'll be sticking with that from now on! Carole Z X

  23. Fabulous card. Will miss you at the NEC as you are always a stand I visited but can quite understand your reasoning - I know the cost is extortionate without factoring in accommodation and food. Please don't forget us in the Midlands - there are a few smaller shows we would love to see you at.
