Exploding box …

Good morning crafters, we’re having a lovey sunny spell here in the UK so I hope you're enjoying this gorgeous weekend
.
Today I’m revisiting one of our older posts from the blog for our new visitors who may not have seen it
.
This fabulous little exploding box was made by our super talented Katarina and is on display in our showroom. I think almost every person that comes into the shop comments on it and asks how it was made
.
.

.
.
For those of you who may not know what an exploding box is, the following picture shows it all folded up, just like a regular gift box
.
.
.
.
.
.
She has used our Fairy Friends stamp and one of the circular sentiments from the Dreamy Days set
Then it's simply decorated with pretty papers and a paper daisy on top, but when you pull the lid off...
TA-DAH!
.
.
.

.

.
A beautiful miniature magical world unfolds!
These do take a bit of time  …but the result is well worth it
.
.
Any little girl would love to be given this for her birthday  …or even a big girl lol I know I would be delighted to receive it
.
.
Katarina wrote up the instructions for the box so will add it to our tutorials page shortly which you can access any time from the tabs at the top of this page, it’s also on our website here
.
.
We’d love to see your exploding boxes …so if you try it at home so be sure to leave a comment with your link and we may even give a small prize for the best one!
.
.
Thanks for visiting  …and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
..
