A little project today …

Good morning everyone , thanks for visiting and I hope you’re all well today

I have another piece of work to show you today from Lou, our guest designer for April

This is a little gift card holder but could be used for many things, Lou made a little book mark to go in it which would make a really lovely inexpensive and thoughtful gift

Lou Molesworth - Basket Of Roses

This is a little gift card holder, I have used the sweet Basket of Roses image to make a bookmark which tucks into the gift card pocket too as an extra keepsake gift.

I stamped the image with Staz On timber brown and coloured with VersaColor cubes/Marvy pens.

I have used the labels eight Spellbinders nestabilities for the shape of the bookmark and also for the sentiment and message piece.

The flowers are made with the Crealies dies, designer papers and inked with walnut stain distress ink.

The main flower on the front is used to lift open the gift card holder and held with one of those stick on Velcro fasteners.

I just love buttons so have added a few of those too!

  7. This is truly lovely and a very nice and fairly easy idea for a gift. Will definitely keep this on the back burner, as I give a few cards or cash at Christmas etc.
I adore the added bookmark in the pocket and think a corner style one would also look good as an alternative, removeable decoration.
    Thank you for sharing this
    Hugs Linda x
