Easter Sweeties

I hope everyone has been looking at our sneak peeks page to see the new stamps which will be out on February 20th.

This  little tin was made by Dena using the Easter sweeties stamp which is from the new range – what a fabulous idea for recycling

First she coloured the adorable new "Easter Sweeties" with distress inks, then spray painted all the silver parts with white matte paint, then covered the coffee can with design paper.  The tulle was pleated with a sewing machine and hot glued around the top of the can.  Some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers were used to decorate the sides with a large tulle bow.  You can see the added wire handle given just a tiny twist at the top

This is a great idea, you could use any container to do similar as long as there are no sharp edges and it’s something the children could do – what a lovely Easter project for them!

Take a look at Dena’s blog here and make sure you come back tomorrow when we have another project to show you – the cutest little heart box
