Here is some info about my lil’ card. I was feeling a bit better yesterday and did not want to make a huge project with lots of crazy coloring… so as always I choose my sweet and adorable Lili images. This one is called “Happy Times” and was from the recent “Here comes the boys” collection. I had picked the papers for this image a long time ago and when I saw Donalda’s fabulous sketch for the Lili of the Valley Challenge blog I knew it was time to get it colored in. However… I struggled with my embellishments…. don’t you sometimes just wish you could stick a bunch of flowers in one corner to fill it up cause it just does look empty? OH well… lets call this a very manly masculine card lol. BTW… Papers are by Minds Eye

Hello my friends, thank you for swinging by!

Here is a little card only 5.5x5.5 I made last week. Kept it rather simple. I like this cute girl from the new Lili of the Valley Collection. I started with this card twice over. First I tried to color the flower in yellow (same as the Design Paper) but boy this was way too much. So I just left the flower white and colored the sky blue in. For the outside perimeter I used BG0000 and in between the petals I went in with BG02.

Happy Sunday dear Lily Of The Valley Fans !!!!

I am so sorry I haven’t been bringing you many cards to see, my job has pretty much took over and I am off 1 day a week. But I had to get one of these cuties done today to show you all. This is Milly (Me and My Dog)

Isn’t Milly just the cutest ??? She has been colored with copic’s and the sentiment is from the Dreamy Days Sentiments from Lily Of The Valley also. You always have the perfect sentiments with there collection of sentiments that is for sure. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts .

Walkies

OMG it is toooooooo  hot to work in my Craft Room which is in the loft area, Ink will not dry, and I am sure the heat affects copics, so I am going to give it up for the rest of the day and come back up after 6pm, when hopefully it may be cooler.  Luckily I had a card already made so at least I have something to show you.



I think I must have wanted to use every embellishment I had when I made this card as it is rather over crowded.   The Lovely Little “Emma - Walkies” from Lili of the Valley Summer Girls release has been coloured with Copics (again another of the advertising colouring, so no Copics Nos. sorry).  I have used Bev’s Cloud tutorial to colour the sky, think I still need a bit of practise on this.  The Ticket is from Lili of the Valley Grunge Ticket Stamps from the Clear Additions Range. 

The Flowers are a mixture of Prima, Marianne Designs and Wild Orchid Crafts, I am loving this Marianne Designs Roses which are available from Crafts U Love, I have tucked a Doily cut with the Waltzing Matilda Lace Doily Die from Dies to Die for behind the image.  The papers are by Panduro Tilda Fruit Garden Pad.  Key, Ball Chain and Key are by Tim Holtzs.

What a DOGGIE DELIGHT!!!

Happy Day to everyone!!! Hope you are into a marvelous weekend!! I wanted to show you a wee card I made using DOGGIE DELIGHT from the Latest LOTV Stamp Launch which has the cutest little girl images yet and features Emma, Milly, Maisie, and Friends. The sentiment in the little metal frame is a mini from the Calendars Set. The DP is from the Neighborhood Collection by Crate Paper and I have used charm, buttons and twine; the image is colored with Copics, adding a touch of Stickles to the candle flame and Liquid Applique to the cupcake.

Here's a quick card using one of the new Lili of the Valley girls, this one is Maisie with Two Balloons .

I've decided she's off to a birthday party and given her sparkly balloons and a sparkly dress, I stamped, coloured and cut out her dress twice sticking one on top of the other to give a little dimension. The corners are cut with a Nellie Snellon die and I've created the sentiment with one of the new Mixed Circular Sentiments. It really didn't suit flowers so I cut an extra couple of balloons and added a flower charm.

  The papers I've used are the Kraft, Lily Kate and Eva. My image is one of the new

 Lili of the Valley summer girls and this one is Emma on Swing, so adorable to colour!! The sentiment is one of the original Lili of the Valley ones.The flowers are mainly Wild Orchid crafts with a few from my stash along with the ribbon which is also from stash.

Cards from our Donalda

Donalda is having to work incredibly long hours till the end of July so has asked me to post some of her Lili of the Valley cards here

Say it With Flowers–and a Little Tutorial

Good Morning thought I would show you a card I made at the weekend  and at the end of this post I have a little tutorial on how I made the Rose on the card with my new Spellbinders Die.#

Wow just realised looking at this picture just how busy this card is, lots of Dies used on here all available from Dies to Die For and Crafts U Love, The Tag and Border die are Doo Hickeys, I cased the idea for the tag from Maddy (Thanks Hun Mwah xxx), The image of Emma “Plant Pot”, and the Circular Sentiment  are from Lili of the Valley, once again this image was coloured ages ago and although I  wrote down the colours I used on all the stamps I lost the pad I wrote them all on.   The papers are from the Nitwits Possibilities download this is a stunning set full of lilacs and pinks.

I made the large rose with the Spellbinder Rose Creations Dies, more below, the rest of the flowers are by Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, Seam Binding and Fancy Pins are from the Ribbon Girl.

 

Here is how I made the Rose

You need to cut 2 of each of the smallest roses from Double sided paper,  spray both sides of each layer with pearl Glimmer Mist, dry with Heat Gun, then use a decorative brad .

  

Bring the first layer up and over the brad I have added a little dot of glue to temporary keep it in place, then bring each layer up but leaving the bottom layer flat, then add glitter glue (mine hadn’t dried when I took the picture and looks a bit blobby).   I have also used the same die set to make the 2 felt roses, once I had cut the felt layers out I sprayed them with Crafters Companion Spray and Shine to which makes then easier to mould the petals.  The felt is available from The Ribbon Girl.

here is the finished rose in the Floral  arrangement.

Hello dear friends!!!

Boy has it been a long week for me. We are back in full swing and short of help and working 12 hour days 6 days a week. So I am a little behind here.

But today I have a card to show you I had on my desk drying last weekend and forgot about. This is Emma Say it with flowers from Lily Of The Valley ‘s new release. I know you have gotten these cuties by now and they are a dream aren’t they??

She has been colored with my copic’s and I have used some papers from Daisy D’s.

Lili of the Valley Challenge

.  There is a new challenge posted on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog this and we have a fun theme for you “Bring on the Music”.  Do Hope you can come and join us, here is my DT card  for the challenge

My pieces of music may be a bit too old for many of you to remember “Tea for Two” and although the girlies here are actually called “Coffee Break” , I think this image fits the title perfectly.  The papers have been in my stash box forever so cannot remember who they are by but they were the inspiration for this card.  I have tucked a sheet of music stamped with the Lili of the Valley Grunge Music Stamp behind the image, the ribbon is also something I have had for years.  The flowers are a mixture of Wild Orchid Craft Flowers and little material ones from C&H Fabrics.  The Sentiment is computer generated and the Musical Notes are a Die-namics Die from Dies to Die For .

Lili of the Valley Challenge – Bring on the music

It’s Lili of the Valley Challenge day today and the theme is Bring on the Music. 

OMW I am so loving the new Lili of the Valley girls stamps, I really don’t know which one to use first!  Each one is my new favourite although I think Milly Me and My Dog that I have used today is my absolute favourite.  How cute is that ponytail??

Colouring was done with the usual Copics and pencils and the sky was done with Stampin Up Soft Sky ink (I had already coloured one and did the sky with Tumbled Glass and it was way too dark so had to start over).
