Best Friends

Happy Day Everyone!!! I wanted to show you a little card with one of my favorite images from LOTV-- Best Friends! Can't you just imagine what these two little cuties are discussing after picking a handful of flowers!!!



I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting; the DP is from the Julianne paper pack by K&Co. The sweet image was stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics, adding a few Waterfall Stickles to the flowers, and cut out with triple Nesties. This little scene makes me feel that all the world's problems are solved now!!!

AND...a little bird just told me that you are going to start seeing some LOTV SNEAKY PEEKIES very soon--the cutest little boys and bears ever!!! Keep your peepers wide open!!

Sneak Peek–New Release BOYS!!!!! 11th May

Just a little sneak peek of  the next release from Lili of the Valley available from 11th May, this is a Little Boy and Boy Bear collection absolutely perfect for Fathers Day, everytime we bring out a new release I am amazed how they just get better and better, you are really going to love this one and I know lots of you have been waiting for some more Boy images.

When i grow up…

I was able to make card yesterday – Thought it would be nice to start with some Mothers Day cards.

This image by Lili of the Valley “ Mirror, Mirror” along with a boy image – which i can show tomorrow i had picked for a while to make a card with.

 

The inside of the card is stamped with a sentiment by Stampin up and the corners are from a Lili of the Valley Clear Addition set “Corners Ornate”.
Papers are by Prima Marketing “Sweet Fariy”

White Wedding

Hi everyone, hope you have had a good Easter weekend and now looking forward to the royal wedding on Friday. With that in mind I have made this little wedding card using the stamp 'I Do' which you can find here. This is the first time I have managed to create a 'white on white' card without it going in the bin!!!

Not much to say on this card except I used my favourite image from the last Lili of the Valley release – Spring Swing.  I just totally love this little bunny.  I coloured the little daisies on the sentiment and popped a little rhinestone in the centres.

This little Dandelion Clock girlie is the cutest thing ever!! She can be used for so many occasions and would make anyone happy! She was colored with Copics, adding Prisma Glitter to her wings and Stickles and Doodlebug Fluff to the dandelions. The DP is from the Lilac Avenue Collection by Kaisercraft, the ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and all of the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The "made with love" angel charm is handmade.



On the inside I have used a lovely sentiment from the Set 10-A5 Verses from the Clear Additions Range cut out with a Magnolia die.

Lili of the Valley Additions Range

A quick Reminder to all those who have been waiting for the new Lili of the Valley Additions Clear Collection of Stamps, they will be for sale on the Website from tomorrow morning. 

 

This collection, as it’s name suggests, has been created  to complement and add to the normal Lili of the Valley Character stamps, it includes a stunning Ribbon Stamp sheet, Postcards, Labels , Various corners , Tags and more Round Sentiments plus lots m0re, all produced in strong Polymer for easy placement.  They have been a hit at all the shows we have taken them to and will be a great “Addition” to everyones stamp collection.

Love Grows Mini Canvas

Hello everyone,

Today I wanted to show you a mini canvas decorated with the gorgeous

'Love Grows' stamp from the love collection.

My first thought was to stamp directly onto the distressed canvas,

but this didn't work for me,

so I went and stamped/coloured the normal way onto paper,

cut out and added to the canvas with a glue sealant.

The sentiment was added in the same way

and I've finished it by adding some sticky gems and flowers in matching colours.

The current LotV challenge blog theme is Peach & Green,

Lili of the Valley Additions!!

I really had fun with this one using a quite a lot of Lili of the Valley's new Additions range of stamps - the corner stamps, the script stamp are both two of the new ones, and I used one of the other set of corner stamps around the edge of the image, the ribbon and bow and the flowers are also from the new sets and the sentiment is one of the new ones - they are absolutely fabulous and a must have!!

My image is a Toadstool for Two and coloured with distress inks, it's inked around the edges with  Vintage photo distress ink. The papers are from an old Papermania stack called Nostalgia stamped with another of the new additions corner stamps. The piece behind the image is the  text/leaf stamp and the 'ribbon' and bows are from the new additions range also.

The flowers were samped with yet another of the new Additions stamps, I added two of the larger flowers and two of the smaller ones then shaped them and fastened them together with a small brad. They are sat upon some spotted voile ribbon from The Ribbon girl and some leaf swirls cut with Sizzix die.

This is the card opened using the 2nd stopper which is a butterfly stamp (now probably an antique) and showing the sentiment panel.

LOTV Additions Clear Stamp Range

 

We have had lots of enquiries about the release of the LOTV Additions Clear Stamp Range on the website, this collection was originally due to be released on 19th April but to ensure delivery before the long Easter Holiday we are bringing the release date forward to 14th April.

Oh so cute ..... blowing bubbles

Hi, oh I am just loving the fabulous animal release .... they are all so sweet and this little guy (or is it girl????) is simply adorable!!!!! 

You can get your own little heffalump from here .... every time I colour a new image I love it more than the last, it is so hard to just pick one favourite. I am also mad about these sentiment stamps - seriously, how clever being able to change the middle part of the sentiment ...... I just love this idea!!!

The flowers and pearls are from our lovely friends over at Wild Orchid Crafts - what would I do without my blooms!

Birthday Bumps and Sunshine!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!! Hope you are all settled into a delightful week!



I just wanted to share a card I made for Papertake Weekly Challenge since LOTV is the sponsor this week. I used Birthday Bumps...Gosh!! These five little bears are having so much fun, it makes me want to be a part of the frivolity!! All of the sweet animals in the New Release are just too, too cute, aren't they?!! I also used one of the darling sentiments from the Dreamy Days Set.

The image was colored with Copics, adding a bit of FlowerSoft to the grass. The floral treatemtn is all from Wild Orchid Crafts: 25mm Open Rose, 15mm Open Roses, and a few 5mm Closed Rosebuds.

Happy Mothers Day

Today is Mothering Sunday here is the UK and all of us at Lili of the Valley would like to wish all those lovely hardworking Mums in blogland an extra special Day today.

 

I have a little Step card for you today to showcase lots of Lili of the Valley Stamps

 

 

I have used “Together Forever” Image and Sentiment  from The Romance Collection and The lovely Ribbon Stamp from The LOTV Additions Range, I have also used LOTV Additions Blossom corner on  the image my idea was to give the impression of the wing hanging from a Cherry/Apple Tree, think it looks quite good.

Altering Christmas Cute Squares to use for other occasions...

Hi, Caz here, I wanted to show you a card I made using one of the Christmas Cute Squares for something other than Christmas. I have taken one of the bears and trimmed off the baubles from his paws, and also the top part of the bauble on his foot so now it looks like a balanced ball, and of course he isn't wearing tinsel....that is a feather boa now....

If like me you have some of these Christmas Cute Squares laying around in your stash...why not try altering them to use on a Birthday Card. In the store they are also selling through the packs of the cute squares before they revert back to the A4 sheets...you can find the Christmas Bear ones HERE.
