Little Bears - Snowman

My card today features one of the soon to be released Christmas stamps called 'Little Bears - Snowman'. Such a gorgeously cute image and as soon as I saw it I thought of 'twins' so that is how I have depicted them. You can see how I have made this card here.

Sneaky Peek Tags!!

I have a couple of tags today which are SNEAKY PEEKIES of two of the absolutely darling images from the Second Launch of Christmas sweeties which will be available at LOTV on September 6. Both tags are encircled with pre-gathered lace first.

For the first tag I used the darling LITTLE IVY and colored her with Copics, adding some Star Dust Stickles and MS Glitter. I also used some Snowflake ornaments topped with SELF-ADHESIVE RHINESTONES. For the bow I used 25mm (1") BABY BLUE ORGANZA RIBBON topped with silver cording. And the corner flower is a CARNATION on top of a lace rosette to dangle a MINIATURE SILVER RINGING BELL.

For the second tag I used the lovely ANGELIC LUTE, coloring her with Copics and Prismacolors and adding Prisma Glitter to her wings and MS Gold Glitter to the stars. The floral treatment at the bottom is made up of 35mm TRELLIS ROSE, 25mm TEA ROSES, 15mm OPEN ROSES, and GOLD GLITTER PLASTIC HOLLY BERRIES and intertwined with gold beaded cording. To finish this tag I used 25mm (1") PURPLE ORGANZA RIBBON tied with more gold beaded cording and a star button.

I know that you are enjoying the Sneaky Peeks of these little darlings both here and on the DT members personal blogs! The time is clicking away and soon these little cuties will be available for you to invite them into your craft room!! The magic date is September 6 so until then, keep your eyes open for yet more of these sweeties--there are 22 new ones in this launch!! Thanks for dropping by and we would love to see you here again real soon! Hugs from Jacque!

Christmas Bears – Sledge Sneak Peek

I’ve another sneak peek today, this little poppet is called Christmas Bears – Sledge and is from the second Christmas release from Lili of the Valley.  I just love the detail in these stamps, those little robins are too cute!

I added Liquid Applique to the trees for snow and whilst still wet I poured some glitter over then blasted with a heat gun so the glitter set in to the puffy stuff as it swelled and dried.

And a close up of the flowers that were featured on yesterday’s Quick Flicks on the  Ideas to Inspire blog.  I love how the Twinklets (from Crafts U Love) totally transform a simple mulberry poinsettia flower especially when those gorgeous moonstone brads are added into the mix.

Christmas Wishes sent to You ...

I also worked with a lot of glitter and snow effects, I think an absolutely *MUST* for christmas cards ;o) Matching the x-mas time I´ve chosen another sentiment of the Christmas Circular Sentiments collection from Lili of the Valley, which you also can get at the Lili of the Valley Webseite.

Medium: Prismacolor Pencil & White Spirit

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Lili of the Valley–Day 4 Sneak Peeks

Today is Day 4 of the Lili of the Valley Christmas 2 Sneak Peeks, from the messages I have received I think you are liking these.   I have really enjoyed colouring these images especially the Teddies and Angels but then I enjoy every release from Lili of the Valley and feel so lucky to be one of the first to get my grubby mitts in them.

My long time favourite Lili of the Valley Image has always been “Fairy On Tiptoe” but this beautiful “Festive Fairy”  is now threatening to take over,  don’t know what it is about her but each time I look at the image I want to smile.

Pion Papers from Dies to Die for have been used on here, in fact it is just one double sided sheet, Lace and Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I have stamped Magnolias Silent Night Music Stamp onto a piece of scrap backing paper and popped it behind the image.

Here is Festive Fairy in close up can you see why I love her so much

You will like all the new images, coming out on the 06th September :-)

Christmas Bears

Hello Peeps over here in the UK its another Bank Holiday and for once the weather looks promising, I am waiting for my Grocery delivery then I am off  to Canterbury.  I was so excited on Friday we had a brand new store open in Canterbury and instead of the usual High Class Dress or Shoe Shops etc that we usually get and that don’t really appeal to me, The Range has opened a big Superstore WoooooHooooo that's  more like it.    Lin and I where waiting at the Door dead on 9am Friday Morning and made a rush up stairs to the Craft Department, made lots of small purchases which I am so pleased with.  We finished off a real girlie morning by going to a nearby greasy spoon cafe and had a full English breakfast with all the trimmings Smile

It’s Day 3 of the Lili of the Valley Christmas 2 Release Sneak Peeks and today I have gone for a completely different colour scheme for my Christmas Bears – Snowman card, the idea for the colours was taken from the lovely glitter paper that is from one of my Range purchases a First Edition Paper Pad called Festive Treats. full of lovely and unusual papers, half glittered and half double sided.   I went for quite a plain card as I wanted to show off the paper and the image.

I have cut and distressed a flower punched with Magnolia Doo Hickey Doily Flower Die from Crafts U Love the stunning roses and buds are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The Copics used: Bears: E53, E51, E50 – Mid Brown PolyChromos Pencil, Greens: G29, G28, G82: Browns: E09, E08, E97, Creams YR21, YR000o.

The Lili of the Valley Christmas 2 stamps will be released on 6th September.

Have a great day everyone

Bird Table

Another sneak peek for you today, this little cutie is from the new Christmas release from Lili of the Valley and is called Christmas Bears Bird Table.  Loving those tiny little stockings lol.

Instead of a shaped card I used the XXL Frilly Frames 6 to make an envelope effect then layered the gorgeous Nitwit Collections Joyful Hearts papers on.

The filigree star die is by Marianne Design, this die is so ornate and cuts perfectly!  I slathered it in stickles for some bling, then added 20mm roses and 10mm roses and a snowflake charm from the mixed metal embellishments (all from Wild Orchid Crafts ) on to finish it off.  I coated the roses with Glossy Accents then dunked them in Twinklets (from Crafts U Love) and Glamour Dust (also from Crafts U Love).

The sentiment is from an old HOTP set from QVC stamped on to a little die cut tag

On my card, I used the beautiful new Little Trumpet image.  I just love this image!   The new angel images are all so pretty in this release.

I colored the image with copic markers and after stitching around my image, I added some glitter to her wings and a couple red brads in the corner.  I used a sentiment from the Circular Christmas Sentiments set.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Music makes my heart sing

Hello fellow Lili of the Valley fans.
Claudia here, to show you my take on, on one of my assigned images from the soon to be released second Christmas stamp line.
This one cute image is not new to you Smile since my fellow Design Team Member Christine has posted hers. Make sure you scroll down. It is super cute and certainly shows how different one image can look if you choose different colors on your papers

For my first card I went with the image that spoke the most to me. OMG.. I remember when I was a kid I learned the block flute in Kindergarten and every year my mom made me play it before we opened presents and she would sing along. Smile

The papers used on this card are by My Minds Eye SIX BY SIX (newest release), Flowers Wild Orchid Crafts, Paper Doily, golden scroll found at  Michaels – oh.. see those little golden bells.. I added 3 different sizes and it makes such a lovely noise when you touch the card. Even I had to shake it a few times and it made me grin Smile

Alright.. I hope you like my card and come back soon – I know the other girls have scheduled her other cards – this way you see the entire new line in the next days used on sample cards.
Love love love
