Circular stamp is also Lili of the Valley

Thank you all for visiting us here on the Lili of the Valley Inspiration site. Please enjoy the rest of your the weekend.

Mice are Nice-- Icing Sugar

Hello again! I've got another Mice are Nice card to show you all, this one is called 'Icing Sugar'. It will be available in the store March 9th. There are also two recipe card stamps that go perfectly with the Mice are Nice stamps, one I used on the card I posted several days ago here; there is also a Friendship recipe in the set, but I didn't leave myself enough room to use on this card. I can always add it to the inside if I decide to send it.

Once again, I colored the image with my colored pencils, blended with Odorless Mineral spirits. I added some Stardust Stickles over the sprinkled sugar for a little glimmer.

The papers are from October Afternoon's 'Thrift Shop' collection.

I hope you're enjoying all the peeks at the new stamps, as usual LOTV have outdone themselves with this new release! Hang in there, they'll be available before you know it, lol!

Thanks for visiting!

Sneak Peaks

This is "Blowing Bubbles" - a real cutie that will be available March 9th at Lili of the Valley!!!

Just perfect for those little kids' birthday cards, right *Ü*

Thanks for looking - have a great day!

Spring Swing

Here's another look at "Spring Swing", one of the new releases coming out March 9th from Lili of the Valley

I colored this image on the smooth card from Lili of the Valley that you can find HERE, with copics.  Love that paper!  The design paper is My Mind's Eye - Quite Contrary.  I cut the little fence with my cricut from the Paper Dolls cartridge and the grass is from my Plantin cartridge.  All my flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts along with the gorgeous 25mm organza ribbon.

Awe! I love this bunny with his fluffy tail!

Stay tuned to this site for more sneak peeks from the Design Team! There are still more super cute images coming out!

Thank you for visiting Ideas to Inspire!

Hugs, Dena

Good Luck

Claudia_Rosa_Good Luck_3

This image “Lucky Cats” i used was one of those i spoke the other day about, which are so cute but really kind of fast to color in. I have colored the kittens in some browns, brown-red and the E41 color sections just to make them stand out a bit more against the rather white background. The background is colored with Prisma pencil “slate grey”. The horseshoe is colored with N colors with Copics.

Blowing Bubbles sneak peek!!

I have another of the soon to be released sneak peeks for you today. This cute little elephant is called 'Blowing Bubbles' and a sheer delight to colour - actually they all are!!

I coloured this little cutie with Copic and then tore a post-it note to roughly cloud shaped and used Faded Jeans distress ink to sponge in a sky with clouds. The papers are Pink Petticoat and I used a Tim Holtz border die to cut the 'frame' - positive at the bottom, negative at the top. The red flower is cut with a Marianne creatable and the sentiment is Lili of the Valley also. Everything else is from my stash.
Visit my fellow DT's or here at the Inspiration blog for more Sneak peeks of the adorable images to be released 9th March.

Sneak Peek - Bunches of Love

Here’s my sneak peek for today, the image is called Bunches of Love and is just the ticket for Mothers Day.  They go on sale with the rest of the animal images on 9th March.  There is a new style in the mix, totally adorable little mice so keep an eye on the Lili of the Valley’s Ideas to Inspire blog as the DT will be posting sneak peeks on there too.  The Lili of the Valley Challenge DT are all using the new images on this week’s challenge so lots for you to ogle.

Spring Swing sneak peek

I think this wee image has been one of the most popular so far. It's such a cutie and so apt for the season.

I've coloured it with Prisma pencils and Promarkers - kept it really simple - can't do difficult. :)

The frame is punched with a Martha Stewart PATP set and as the size wasn't a standard one it required a bit of fiddling about - more details HERE if you need them.

The papers are from Echo Park's 'Springtime' range, the flowers are punched with Nellie's Choice punches and edged with mustard seed distress ink.

Sneak peak - Toadstool for Two

My daughter has also made a card with this stamp and both can be viewed Here on my blog.

Erum’s gorgeous card

Erum won some candy from us and this is the card she made – and look …… no image but one stunning card!

Sneak Peek. Mice are Nice...Cherries on Top

Are you all getting excited about all the wonderful new stamps coming out next month? I know I was doing the happy happy dance when I saw these sweet mice in the kitchen. They're busy making cherry topped cupcakes for the big birthday party, lol!

Coloring was easy with my colored pencils, and a Copic or two.

Papers are from Memory Box 'Brioche' collection. For a more detailed supply list visit my blog.

Envelope Cards - A small "tutorial"

I thought I'd show you how to make some easy-made, but very fun and decorative Envelope Cards today, like the ones I'll show you here:

Start out by cutting a square of cardstock in size 91/4" x 91/4".

Score diagonally as showed on the picture, at 31/4" in every corner, so you'll have 4 equal flaps to fold.

Cut off the little triangles where the flaps cross (on the middle of each side of the square), so you can fold the card nice and flat.
Hope this made sense to you :)

If you make any Envelope Cards using my description along with any stamps from Lili of the Valley, we'll be very happy to show them here at the LOTV Ideas to Inspire blog - just pop us an e-mail with pictures of your creations :)
Happy Crafting!
