A Thank You card

003a

Today it is time to say hello to an old friend,  I thought you might like to see one of the cute Lili of the Valley bears that were released earlier in the year.  I also want to give you a reminded that its time for a new challenge on Lili of the Valley Challenge tomorrow.  We have noticed just how many Lili of the Valley images are appearing on your blogs everyday so we have decided to go back to have our challenge once a week instead of every fortnight, I hope you continue to support us as we love seeing your wonderful creations with these super images.

003Well with that off my chest I will get on with telling you about this Thank You card.  I have used the cute Lili of the Valley Bear with Bouquet for this image and have used copics and Prismas to colour the image:

Bear – E13, E53, E51, E50, Flowers – R27, R05, R01, R00, Wrapping – B15, B11, B10

I have been asked by a number of you to do a tutorial on how I use both colouring mediums, I will try to get one done over the weekend.

The lovely papers are from My Minds Eye Out and About Pad, and I have used a Martha Stewart Border Punch.  The Cherry Blossom and 10mm Roses, flat backed pearls and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

"Bringing Home Gifts"

Her is a card made with one of the new Christmas releases called "Bringing Home Gifts". I've coloured with Copic Markers and Crystal Stickles. The background was a grey copic marker that I randomly dotted then went back over again randomly with the colourless blender. Papers are MME and the sentiment is from "Fairy Doodle". You can see more detail on my blog.
Thanks for stopping by "Idea's to Inspire" today and don't forget the weekly candy!

lotv-angel-praying

I have coloured Lili of the Valley’s Christmas Angel Praying with Copics and added Stardust Stickles to her wings, on the shadow and around the edges of the papers.  The sentiment is from the Lili of the Valley Christmas Stamp Sheet.lotv-angel-praying2

Aren’t the papers just delish!  They are Aimee Asher digi downloads, I am loving the PINK!!  The Poinsettias and 15mm roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I coated the Poinsettias with Twinklets

The border has been punched with a Martha Stewart Layered Arches punch (I lurve this punch) and popped pearls in the centre of each loop.  The 25mm organza ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Fairy Bouquet

Hi everybody!
Thought I would share another card with you today :)
I made a card (almost) all in blue (inspired by a card I saw my amazing DT fellow Jacqui did some time ago) using one of the georgeous little LOTV Fairies - "Bouquet".

I've stamped the LOTV image "Bouquet" with Archival Ink - Coffee on aquarellpaper 200g, and coloured it with Distress Ink - refills, mainly in the coloures of Stormy Sky/Shipped Saffire and Tumbled Glass. The crown and the middle of the flowers have got some rainbow glitter on :)
I've mounted the image by cutting some of the wings out with a scalpell, before I used a Spellbinders - Nesting Classic Oval to cut out the rest, and glued it to a panel of blue shimmer blue Bazzill cardstock, made by using Spellbinders - Labels 10. The frame around the card are made by using the Embroidered Floral punch set from Martha Stewart.
The PP is from Magnolia's Collection - Something Old, Something New called "Something Blue", and Maja Design's Crea Diem Collection called "Av Hela Mitt Hjärta".
I've embellished the card using georgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts - Wild Rose 30mm (coffee), Paper Roses 15 mm (blue), Rosebuds 4 mm (blue) & Gypsophilias (white), some of them have got some sparkle by adding rainbow glitter. The rose leaf is made by using a MS punch.
I've also used some beautiful rhinestones and pearls from Storyteller, lace, charm & pearl spritz from Kuttut, and ribbon from Papirloftet. The stamped text is from Kort & Godt.

Thank you for visiting - have a lovely Sunday!
Hugs, Lena Katrine
