One for the Boys

It’s Lili’s Little Fairies Challenge today and this week our challenge is to make a card for a boy (or in my case man lol).  I have made a valentines card and although there are the usual flowers on it does it for me.

 

I have used Bubble Bath from Lili of the Valley, as well as the Grunge Corners and Love Sentiments.

The paper is Prima Alla Prima pad, the ribbon is Light Scallop Blue Trim and both are from Dies to Die For.

The gorgeous turquoise flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, I spritzed them with chalk white glimmer spray then inked them with Walnut Stain.

Love Grows

My card today is a totally new colour scheme for me.  It’s not often I colour with the E93 – E99 family but I love this Prima Romantique paper so it had to be done.  The pretty lace is Grand Lace Trim but I am being frugal and cut it in half, so twice the lace for 1/2 the price lol

The stamp is Love Grows from Lili of the Valley.  I have also used the new Love Sentiments and Grunge Corners on the card.  These stamps are just totally fab and having them clear is such a bonus.

The seam binding and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used 4mm rose buds, 15mm roses, 20mm roses and 25mm hybrid tea rose

A close up of the heart from the Love Sentiments which I stamped onto Kraft in Walnut Stain then stamped the Cherish sentiment in black ink.

New Lili of the Valley stamps out now!!!

Lili of the Valley have launched their new Love Sentiments and Grunge Corners.  I have been using them for the past few days and they are going to be the stamps that never get put away   I love the grunge corners, at last a grungy look with clear stamps so no more guess work!!

All our dreams

Hi there, a quick post to share the card I made for Lili’s Little Fairies challenge – Lavender and Lace.  I sneaked some buttery yellow in to warm the lavender …. I’m not fussed on purples, lavenders and lilacs much.  Give me pink any day

I have used All our dreams from Lili of the Valley and only had a scrap of the dotty paper which fitted the tag card that I had been fiddling with so job’s a good’un – card done  

The 25mm hybrid tea rose, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, 6mm rose buds and lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Lazy Afternoon

Good morning,

Like many crafters I really struggle with male cards,

but every time I do need to make one I always reach for one of the LOTV boys/men images.

They are all just so gorgeous!

I made this card for my father-in-law, using my particular favourite, "Lazy Afternoon"
